The Centre for Environment and Law organises a series of seminars and workshops with themes focused on the contemporary developments in the realm of environmental law.
The first event in the series was the workshop on Legislative Drafting which aimed at providing technical and procedural know-how in legislative drafting. The workshop hosted senior drafts-men, legal officers of the Kerala Legislative Assembly, judges and policy advocates who will hold sessions and share their insight and experience into the real-world aspects of legislation making.
Justice P.S. Gopinath, Prof (Dr.) N Balu, Prof (Dr.) M.C Valson and Prof. Abraham were the key speakers of the workshop.
The Workshop along with the Drafting Competition afforded students an opportunity to understand the process of legislation-making and also apply their legal skills in a practical scenario of environmental law.
